Growing up in Southern California, my only interests were sketching unflattering caricatures of my teachers and reciting lines from “Caddyshack.” Little did I know it would be the perfect training for a career in advertising. Today I am an ACD/Art Director living in Chicago, where I have created campaigns for Esurance, Samsung, and Pine-Sol.
Before Chicago I’ve worked for agencies in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, and Shanghai, creating work for AT&T, Subaru, Budweiser, Stoli, and Absolut. I was also instrumental in bringing the Snickers campaign to life that garnered several Lions at Cannes and nominated by Adweek as “Campaign of the Decade.”
I’ve also won awards from the One Show, ANDYs, Clios, and Obies, spanning a wide range of categories including Print, OOH, Social, and TV. I have work that has been recognized by MOMA, Communication Arts, AICP, Graphis, Webbys, TBS Funniest Commercials, and the occasional “Oh that’s nice” from my parents.
I’m excited for what the future holds and the ever-changing landscape of advertising. The goal, however, remains the same–to create meaningful work that motivates and inspires people–and if they’re inclined to buy some toilet paper from that Charmin ad I made, all the better.
